I can't help but smile every time I see this picture! I just love my little girl! These past few weeks have been hard but incredibly amazing. Being a mother is something that I never imagined would be so wonderful (I imagined it wonderful but not this wonderful). Brynn continues to grow and show more personality every day. I just have to laugh at her alot of times because she acts so much like a teenager sometimes. She does this cry that sounds like she is saying "UGH!". It is the cutest thing ever. She also loves taking baths and splashing around in the water. Sometimes she tries to roll off the little bed thing in the bath tub to get deeper into the water. It makes me laugh! She loves her Daddy. Boy does she love her daddy! When he comes home from school or school/work she will lay on his chest and they will watch TV together while I put dinner together. It makes me laugh so hard! Plus she always burps the best for Darrell. Another thing we learned she loves is after you change her diaper and she is just in her diaper she will stick her legs straight up and want you to rub them. If you don't rub them she gets a little angry...lol! She has done pretty well through the night only getting up 2 - 4 times to eat during a 10 hour period. She also just eats and goes right back to bed (most of the time). There have been a few nights where she decided that she wants to play and be held for six hours in a row... Silly girl! Overall being a mom is the best thing! She is such a sweet little girl and Darrell and I both agree that it was one of the best decisions we ever made.
On another note Darrell is doing extremely well with school! He has only not passed one test on the first try (seeing as he missed school for me having a baby and he was SOOO close to passing it the first time). He is working at the same time and then comes home and helps me with the baby and house work. He is such a wonderful person and such a sweet dad! He even gets up with Brynn on the weekends to help me get a little more sleep.
Dance is going well. I'm enjoying my little drive to Price for two days a week to teach dance and allow Brynn to have time with her Grandma's, Grandpa's, Aunts and Uncles. She is such a spoiled little girl and is constantly being visited by everyone. I'm enjoying the time with my Mother and learning how to take care of a baby from her. She sure does know what she is talking about!
Surprisingly I've lost all my baby weight, which ended up being 30 pounds. Most of it was water weight and was gone within one week of delievery. Now I have another 20 pounds to lose from nursing schoool...I wish that would only take one week to lose! lol!
Brynn is being blessed on November 1 in my parent's home ward at 11:30.
Next I just want everyone to really think about getting the H1N1 shot. I have been following alot of what was said about the shot and the Swine flu. I hope everyone takes the time to get this shot. Darrell and I both got the nasal mist and it wasn't bad at all. We got it because we have a three week old daughter and she is most at risk for the flu this season. I hope all of you who have a child under the age of five really think about getting the H1N1 vaccination and if your child is over the age of 6 months making sure to get them vaccinated as well. (Sorry...that is the nurse in me... and paranoid mother instinct)
Overall, life has done a 180 but it was one of the best 180's that ever happened. Life is wonderful! I hope everyone has a wonderful week and hopefully I will have some new pictures up in the next few days (especially for you Sydnee of her in her tutu).
