Going Private

I guess its come to this since I have had some weird comments from some people I don't know or that I even think are in this country... If you want me to add you to my blog I will send you something. Just send me your email. I am going to do this on December 30. I don't care who reads this as long as I sort of know who you are or know of you and know you aren't going to be special and leave special comments!
I hope everyone has a happy holiday!

Catch Up!

Its been awhile since I have blogged! It seems like time is going by so fast that I never remember or have the time to even get on facebook anymore. So i guess I will start from where I left off in November....

Paige, Ashli, Brooke (cousin), my mom, Aunt Janet, Emily (cousin) and Jessica all went to New Moon on November 21. Can I ever say I LOVE LOVE LOVED IT? It was so much fun to see how a different director made the movie. I like the more earthy tones and more down to earth way it was. I hated that Edward left Bella (I totally admit that I cried a little). I enjoyed the wolf pack and the neato fight scenes. I really am curious to see how Eclipse is going to be...only six months to go with that one! :) It happens to be coming out on my Four year anniversary...Guess you can say I already have plans for our anniversary. All in all it was a great movie and I can't wait for the next to come out!

Thanks giving was wonderful! I was able to see both my in-laws and parents. First we went to my sister Ashli (and Paige's) apartment to cook the meal. Of course it was amazingly wonderful and I surely enjoyed my 12 layer jello salad that takes 12 hours to make. We also fed Brynn a little bit of a sucker...lol! She LOVED it! She kept licking her lips and trying to find more. We didn't feed her alot but boy did she sure love it! We then went to the Cracker Barrell with Darrell's family. Now I have never been to the Cracker Barrell and I would have to say it was pretty good! It had been awhile since we had seen everyone so it was really nice! Then we went to Liz and Lee's house and played nintendo. It was a GREAT thanksgiving! :)

Black Friday! I love it! Its a tradition for us all to get up early and hit the Black Friday sales. So of course I got up at three o'clock in the morning and drove up to Sandy to go to Wal mart with my cousins, sisters, brother, mom and aunt. A few of them stayed all night at Wal mart to get a few of the good items but I didn't show up until about four thirty with my mom and Paige. Luckily we got everything we went for! I was able to get Brynn a cabbage patch doll that looks like her. It was mostly what I wanted for her because I had one when I was little. Even though she can't play with it now she will love it in a few months! We also traditionally ate breakfast at McDonalds. I loved spending that time with the family!

Darrell has been working really hard at school and work and was just promoted to a Pharmacy Intern! :) That means a pay raise (WOOT!) and a few more responsibilities. He enjoys pharmacy schooling and can't wait for Christmas Break. I don't blame him since he goes to school for eight hours a day and then has to come home and study his guts out....

Darrell and I recently bought a Wii Fit! Its our christmas present to ourselves! We wanted to play it now so we just wrapped up the box...lol! Now neither of us can stop exercising and I even lost two pounds this week! Hopefully I can lose some more of the weight I gained in nursing school.

Brynn has been growing up so fast! We went to her two month check up (ALREADY?!) and got her immunizations. She weighed 13.5 pounds (96%) and was 23.5 inches long (91%). This means she is tall and fat. She is such a chunk and we love it! She smiles alot and makes cute little noises. She is holding her head up on her own alot and mostly doesn't need any support. She giggles and makes noises. I stick my tongue out and she copies me or if I make a noise she will copy me. She is ahead of all the charts which shows she takes after her intelligent father. :) I can't go anywhere without people stopping me and telling me how beautiful she is! Its horrible to go to Wal Mart and have like 5 different people say how beautiful she is and how big her eyes are. She is such a cutie and we just love having her! I love being a mom! It is the best thing ever.

Life has been positively wonderful and fun! We love being parents and are really enjoying life. Hopefully I can put up a few pictures soon of our little Brynn. She gets cuter and cuter every day! I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

New moon and Brynn

I seriously just love this little girl! This is how she looks at me every morning when we get up and eat and watch 'The Price is Right'. Being a mom is amazing! Brynn is growing up so fast and is approaching her two months mark! I KNOW! CRAZY! Darrell is amazed that he is almost half way done with his first year of pharmacy school as well. Time seems to fly by faster and faster. Brynn is getting so big and is ALMOST sleeping through the whole night...almost. She smiles every chance she gets and is starting to get used to her car seat. Now she doesn't scream the whole time we put her in there...just some of the time. :)

Next week is the premire of NEW MOON! I seriously cannot wait! Me, my sisters, my mom, my aunt and some cousins are all going to the premire Saturday the 21! We are all in love with Twilight and Edward of course! Its fun to spend time with all the girls and enjoy my favorite book series.

I hope everyone had a wonderful week! Pictures will come in the next post of New moon and some of Brynn! :)

Halloween and Brynn's Blessing

These are a few pictures from Halloween and Brynn's Blessing. It was such a wonderful weekend full of family and fun! Halloween we watched scary movies and ate yummy spaghetti that my brother made. The next day Brynn was blessed by Darrell. It was an amazing blessing! I cried of course because of everything that was said. I wrote down a few things that I remembered and I am going to type them up so she can see what was written about her blessing.
It amazes me how quickly your children grow up!! Brynn is getting so big and amazes me everyday with the new things she learns! She wakes up only once during the night now and its usually around 4:00 am after going to bed at 10:00 pm. Then she doesn't wake up until 7:30 or 8:30. We then exercise together (she lays on the floor and kicks for an hour while I do turbo jam!) and then she naps while I clean and get ready. Then we have the rest of the day to run errands, visit family and play! I LOVE being a mom! Brynn is the sweetest little girl and I just love every little thing I can do for her, even if it means getting NO sleep. I love how she smiles at me and seems like she is about to giggle everytime she plays. She LOVES her daddy and always saves her biggest smiles for him. Brynn is such a daddy's girl and she just loves when he comes home from school.
Life has been amazing, even with the difficulites we are facing. I hope everyone had a wonderful month and hopefully i will get to blog next week when Brynn reaches 7 weeks! CRAZY!

Four weeks old!

I can't believe my baby is four weeks old! She is such a cute little bug and we just love her to death. She has been a great baby and is getting more personality everyday. She smiles at Darrell and I, talks and coos all the time, and even can hold her head up on her own for so long! She loves the outdoors and loves looking at all the bright colors outside! She only wakes up three to four times during the night and eats and goes straight back to sleep. Brynn loves the all the attention she gets from her grandparents and aunts and uncles. She is such a spoiled girl!
I will post more pictures next week that are for her announcements. We have only a few of them done with her tutu because she was not cooperating...lol! Hopefully I will have more pictures up in a week!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!

I can't help but smile every time I see this picture! I just love my little girl! These past few weeks have been hard but incredibly amazing. Being a mother is something that I never imagined would be so wonderful (I imagined it wonderful but not this wonderful). Brynn continues to grow and show more personality every day. I just have to laugh at her alot of times because she acts so much like a teenager sometimes. She does this cry that sounds like she is saying "UGH!". It is the cutest thing ever. She also loves taking baths and splashing around in the water. Sometimes she tries to roll off the little bed thing in the bath tub to get deeper into the water. It makes me laugh! She loves her Daddy. Boy does she love her daddy! When he comes home from school or school/work she will lay on his chest and they will watch TV together while I put dinner together. It makes me laugh so hard! Plus she always burps the best for Darrell. Another thing we learned she loves is after you change her diaper and she is just in her diaper she will stick her legs straight up and want you to rub them. If you don't rub them she gets a little angry...lol! She has done pretty well through the night only getting up 2 - 4 times to eat during a 10 hour period. She also just eats and goes right back to bed (most of the time). There have been a few nights where she decided that she wants to play and be held for six hours in a row... Silly girl! Overall being a mom is the best thing! She is such a sweet little girl and Darrell and I both agree that it was one of the best decisions we ever made.

On another note Darrell is doing extremely well with school! He has only not passed one test on the first try (seeing as he missed school for me having a baby and he was SOOO close to passing it the first time). He is working at the same time and then comes home and helps me with the baby and house work. He is such a wonderful person and such a sweet dad! He even gets up with Brynn on the weekends to help me get a little more sleep.

Dance is going well. I'm enjoying my little drive to Price for two days a week to teach dance and allow Brynn to have time with her Grandma's, Grandpa's, Aunts and Uncles. She is such a spoiled little girl and is constantly being visited by everyone. I'm enjoying the time with my Mother and learning how to take care of a baby from her. She sure does know what she is talking about!

Surprisingly I've lost all my baby weight, which ended up being 30 pounds. Most of it was water weight and was gone within one week of delievery. Now I have another 20 pounds to lose from nursing schoool...I wish that would only take one week to lose! lol!

Brynn is being blessed on November 1 in my parent's home ward at 11:30.

Next I just want everyone to really think about getting the H1N1 shot. I have been following alot of what was said about the shot and the Swine flu. I hope everyone takes the time to get this shot. Darrell and I both got the nasal mist and it wasn't bad at all. We got it because we have a three week old daughter and she is most at risk for the flu this season. I hope all of you who have a child under the age of five really think about getting the H1N1 vaccination and if your child is over the age of 6 months making sure to get them vaccinated as well. (Sorry...that is the nurse in me... and paranoid mother instinct)

Overall, life has done a 180 but it was one of the best 180's that ever happened. Life is wonderful! I hope everyone has a wonderful week and hopefully I will have some new pictures up in the next few days (especially for you Sydnee of her in her tutu).

One week old!!

I cannot believe Brynn is one week old today! Time has gone by so fast this past week between changing diapers and feeding and playing and taking naps and cuddling...and so on! She is one of the best things that has ever happened in my life and I'm sure Darrell feels the same. She is such a sweet baby and she can put a smile on anyone's face with her big blue eyes! I'm going home tomorrow to get back into real life, which is semi scary but I think it will be good for me. Another weird thing is I can't believe how much Brynn has grown up in a week! Its weird to look at pictures from a week ago and look at her today. She is so different. I didn't think things would change so quickly. It made me realize I had better take lots of pictures of her because time is going to go by fast. Very fast.
Things are going well with everything else. Darrell is doing well in school and I am recovering very quickly from the C-section (I did teach dance for 6 hours yesterday!) More pictures will come soon when I go home. Have a wonderful week! I'm going to go play with Brynn.
